I have hired a crew of electricians to do the rough wiring while the roof is exposed as well as to replace the main panel and ground all circuits. I will be doing all terminations inside the house myself: outlets, switches as well as structured cabling terminations.
For the wall plates we picked Leviton Decora plates: clean looking, affordable and widely available from your local Home Depot.
All rooms in the house will be connected via a 4-wire structured cable (2x coax + 2x CAT6 Ethernet) to a distribution panel in the garage. I picked up a CAT6 crimping tool and a coaxial stripping tool to finalise the setup on my own.
